CMCHIS-PMJAY best practice receives national recognition at the NHA Chintan Shivir, New Delhi

Tamil Nadu’s innovative “CMCHIS – Claims Revenue Utilisation” model was presented as a best practice under CMCHIS-PMJAY at the Chintan Shivir organized by the National Health Authority (NHA), Government of India, on 18 July 2026 at M.P. Bhawan, New Delhi.

The presentation was delivered by Dr.S.Uma IAS., CEO, State Health Agency (SHA) & Project Director, TNHSP, highlighting how claims revenue is strategically utilized to strengthen Government hospitals, improve service delivery, and enhance beneficiary outcomes across the State.

The event was attended by the CEO, NHA, Health Secretaries, CEOs of State Health Agencies from across the country, NHA Directors, and other senior officials, providing a platform for knowledge sharing and mutual learning among States.
