It acts as a redundancy emergency response centre Provide uninterrupted Emergency Response in case of major disaster and technological breakdown in the main ERC. Will be operational 24 hours. Proposed at Pudukkottai

Stemi (ST Elevation MI) NHM/TANII

• To ensure all the patients in the cluster are able to access the 'state of art' Cardiac care by STEMI kit transmission in 108 Ambulance.
• To ensure improvement in the quality of acute STEMI care by decreasing the time from onset of symptom to investigation and initiation of treatment..
• To ensure early intervention for life saving by Hub - Spoke Model.
• 320 STEMI kit planned to be handed over to ambulance

APGDEC (Advanced Post Graduate Diploma In Emergency Care)

• To equip students with advanced skills and knowledge to handle all medical, gynaecological, neonatal, paediatric and trauma emergencies These Advanced Paramedics will be used in ALS ambulances and Emergency Care Centres.

Amphibious Ambulance

• Disaster recovery ambulance provides rescue operation and pre-hospital care especially during flood Under fabrication by IIT Madras

Boat Ambulance

• In order to extend the service of 108 Emergency Response Service to habitations near water bodies (Fresh water/Back water/Sea) proposed to introduce one boat ambulance at Kasimedu fishing Harbour.
