Local Competitive Bidding (LCB) package such as Anesthesia Work Station with Monitor, Brain Function Monitor, Extra corporeal membrane oxygenator, Bronchoscope, Arthroscope, Simulator Retina Module etc are supplied to Project Hospitals
International Competitive Bidding (ICB) Package such as District x-ray, Mobile x-ray, Ultra Sound Machine CRRT, Upper GI video endoscope, Optical Coherence Tomography etc., are supplied to Project Hospitals.
Total Number of equipment including LCB/ICB is 980 of which 768 has been supplied. Supply of remaining equipment is in process.
Equipment supply and installation are regularly followed up, issues and queries related to installation are sorted out on regular basis by PMU and consultant team along with TNMSC.
For high end equipment which need additional fund for Civil and electrical modifications are sanctioned to the respective hospitals on individual request.
Collection of equipment utilization report from each project hospital is in process. Project Director review equipment utilization, meeting with deans of Project hospitals is been conducted in this regard.
